Office Administrator (Houston, TX)
Glencore Ltd is a natural resource energy trading company. We are looking for an Office Administrator for a role in our Oil & Gas Department.
Position Responsibilities:
Administrative:
Registering and greeting visitors into our office space.
Carrying out travel arrangements, including scheduling flights, ground transportation, and hotel bookings for the department and for visitors as required.
Manage scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
Payment of overhead invoices and submitting expenses for reimbursement.
Facilities Management:
Helping re-stock kitchen pantry with snacks, waters and various supplies.
Coordinate with NY office to maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies as necessary.
Manage incoming / outgoing mail and deliveries.
Reporting any necessary maintenance issues to Office Services.
Helpdesk Support:
Assist with onboarding of new Houston employees with necessary tools and resources.
Have an understanding of common troubleshooting and configuration of IT tasks and assist the New York helpdesk with Houston user requests.
Maintain accurate records of support requests, issues and resolutions.
Position Requirements:
Has 2-6 years of administrative experience
Is a team player, but can work independently and discretely
Is well-organized, efficient and has a good knowledge of MS 365 and other tools.
Is fluent in English
Is willing to work in the office five days a week
Compensation:
The salary is based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
