SUMMARY:
This position supports Director, Bus Safety to support various safety related programs and activities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares training requests and travel arrangements for Bus Safety Staff
Purchases all safety related materials, tools and equipment
Maintains bi-weekly payroll time sheets for all staff
Maintains monthly P-Card log and submitting records to accounts payable
Completes purchase orders and check requisitions for various “safety” related purchases and programs.
Identifies and distributes OSHA injury reports to the respective Bus Safety Officers
Maintains the Panel Case files – assuring the Safety Officers have all the required documents in the physical file
Distributes safety reports to field locations and Senior Management personnel
Assists the Director, Bus Safety in the planning, preparation and distribution of the Monthly Safety Topic Meeting ting memo and posters to all field locations
Assists the Director, Bus Safety in managing his slate/schedule, distributes letters and memorandums to senior management as required
Maintains inventory of general office supplies
Distributes company mail to Bus Safety Staff
General clerical support for Bus Safety Staff
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors’ Degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required
Experience with timekeeper software (i.e.: Kronos) is preferred
