The primary responsibility of the Student Support Graduate Assistant is to help manage communication, scheduling, and basic office functions related to student support in the Academic Success Center and Office of Accessibility and Accommodations.
Student earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student.
Required Qualifications
Must be in good academic and social standing and currently enrolled in a graduate program at Samford
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Must possess a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
Must be able to remain seated for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
Have experience working in a professional office setting
Have experience working or volunteering with college-aged students
Have experience with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software
Have basic knowledge related to ADA or accommodations at the college level
