About This Role

You are the product leader for our passenger car business. Your job is to make sure Nissan's sedans and passenger vehicles succeed in the market. You own everything from product strategy to launch execution to keeping cars selling well. You are the bridge between the factory, the brand, and the customer.

What You Will Do

Own Product Strategy

  • Coordinate price strategies for the current portfolio
  • Coordinate Budget, MTP and product milestones M&S inputs.
  • Develop the marketing strategy for passenger cars in the LATAM region
  • Decide how to position our cars against competitors
  • Identify which customer segments to target
  • Keep a consistent cross carline strategy

Launch New Products

  • Plan and execute product launches from start to finish
  • Coordinate with all teams (Sales, Communications, Digital, etc.)
  • Make sure launches happen on time and within budget
  • Measure launch success and adjust quickly if needed

Manage Product Lifecycle

  • Keep current models selling well with smart marketing updates
  • Support the Market lead and the regional content team campaigns that keep customers interested in our cars
  • Identify when it's time to refresh or update a product

Drive Sales & Profit

  • Track sales volume and profitability for each model according to MPI approved.
  • Identify opportunities to increase volume or margin for Nissan.
  • Make recommendations on pricing and incentives

Understand the Market

  • Know what customers want and what competitors are doing
  • Track market trends and customer preferences
  • Use data to make smart decisions
  • Share market insights with the Marketing Director

Manage Your Team

  • Hire, develop, and motivate a team of 2-3 people
  • Set clear goals and hold people accountable for results
  • Create a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Develop future leaders

What You Need

Experience

  • 8+ years in automotive marketing or product management
  • 3+ years managing product lines or segments
  • Proven track record of successful product launches
  • Experience in Mexico and/or Brazil markets preferred
  • Understanding of passenger car market dynamics

Skills

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work across different departments and functions
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
  • Or equivalent professional experience
  • MBA preferred but not required
