About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic support officer to join our Ballarat team. This part-time position offers a diverse mix of administrative, project coordination and customer service duties within a friendly, technically progressive environment.
Hours: 20 hours per week over 3 days, with additional hours occasionally required to cover leave. Note: This position will initially require 26 hours/week over 4 days for the first 6 weeks to facilitate comprehensive onboarding and training.
Key Responsibilities
As our Support Officer, you are the engine room of our office. You’ll be essential to our success by taking ownership of:
- Project Administration: Handle the lifecycle of jobs, including opening, filing, issuing, and closing projects.
- Client Connection: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and phone inquiries, and manage the company inbox and project communications.
- Technical Support: Assist with field data, document preparation, and basic drawings.
- Office Coordination: Provide general administrative support, maintain public areas, and coordinate cleaning or catering needs.
- Team & Culture: Support internal events and milestone celebrations in alignment with our positive team values.
- Safety: First Aid and Emergency Warden duties.

About You

- Confidence using Outlook, Word, Excel, and custom workflow systems (experience with WorkflowMax or Xero is a plus).
