About you 

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly individual with a desire to grow your HR career. Previous experience in a HR/payroll/Admin position and within Hospitality is an advantage but not essential as full training and development is available.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, this role will work collaboratively with the team to provide professional and efficient support for the Talent & Culture department at the resort including all aspects of Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, Training & Development, Rewards and Recognition and Employee Engagement. The position acts as the first point of contact for the Talent & Culture office and presents a friendly and professional image in line with the resort values.

Your day to day duties will be varied and engaging, including:

  • Supporting the Talent & Culture Team with the implementation of the HRD and Training and Development strategy
  • Maintaining employee records and files in line with company policies 
  • Conducting reports on behalf of the company 
  • Support the Head of Department team with recruitment activities
  • Be actively involved in onboarding and welcoming all new team members to the resort ensuring that their onboarding experience is smooth and presents a professional resort image
  • Planning, designing and coordinating all internal employee events e.g. briefings, end of year parties, charity events
  • Administration of the employee rewards and recognition programs including birthdays and anniversaries
  • Assist with facilitation of Accor or in-house training programs as appropriate
  • Respond to initial queries from team members and managers regarding T&C process or procedure, escalating to or liaising with Talent & Culture Manager as appropriate
