TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE/

RESEARCH ASSISTANCE (m/f/d)

Full Time – Mainz

We are looking for support in our Serodiscovery unit to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate

will work on the identification and validation of (auto-) antibodies as biomarkers for several diseases, including

cancer.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Performing serological assays (ELISA, Luminex) and cell-based in vitro assays
• Participation in the development and optimization of new methods and processes
• Preparation of SOPs as well as independent and accurate documentation of test results and workflows
• General laboratory organization

What you bring:

• A completed training as BTA, MTA, research technician, and/or a degree in life sciences (B.Sc. and/or M.Sc.)
• Practical experience in immunological and serological detection methods (especially ELISA methods and

Luminex)

• First experiences in molecular biological and/or protein biochemical methods would be a plus
• Knowledge of standardized workflows as well as enthusiasm for accurate documentation
• Good visual, verbal, and written communication skills in English and profound experience with common

Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
