Minimum Qualifications
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Planning, Geography, Social Science, Landscape Architecture, or a planning related field plus two (2) years of experience in planning related work.
Experience may substitute for education up to the maximum of four (4) years.

Position Overview
DSD is seeking a Plan Review Coordinator to join the Expedited Building Plan Review team. This position involves reviewing and processing commercial and residential applications, data entry, assessing and invoicing fees, interacting with applicants and review staff, scheduling review meetings, and performing compliance reviews.
Responsibilities
Review and process development applications and permits.
Provide information on codes, regulations, and fees.
Issue comments, prepare reports, and communicate with applicants.
Review plans and specifications for compliance.
Maintain records and ensure proper filing.
Handle escalated inquiries and complaints.
Approve projects and issue permits.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of codes, regulations, and application requirements.
Skill in communication, data analysis, problem solving, and organization.
Ability to interpret technical documents and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to work with multiple software applications and travel to various sites.
Additional Information
This is a temporary position with a pay range of $27.41 – $33.30 per hour, working Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The posting may close at any time after 7 days.
