Role Description The Ticketing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for managing travel and ticketing needs related to business operations, including booking domestic and international flights, coordinating travel itineraries, and ensuring cost-effective ticketing solutions. The role involves daily communication with airlines, travel agencies, logistics partners, and internal teams to confirm schedules, handle changes or cancellations, and resolve ticketing issues. The Ticketing Consultant maintains accurate travel records, monitors deadlines for travel arrangements, and supports visitors, buyers, and staff with timely ticketing assistance. This role requires consistent on-site collaboration with the Rhino Leathers Nepal team to align travel planning with production, delivery, and client meeting schedules.
Qualifications

  • Strong ticketing and travel coordination skills, including experience with airline reservation systems and online booking platforms.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities to interact professionally with internal teams, clients, and external travel partners.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple bookings, track deadlines, and maintain accurate travel documentation.
  • Basic financial and negotiation skills to compare fares, manage travel budgets, and secure cost-effective ticketing options.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and email communication; familiarity with digital record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and respond promptly to urgent travel requests.
  • Prior experience in ticketing, travel consulting, or hospitality is preferred; knowledge of export and logistics processes is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in travel, hospitality, business, or a related field is beneficial.
