Overview
We are seeking a Trading Operations Specialist to support the daily operational activities of the company's trading business in Indonesia. This role will be responsible for trade settlement, reconciliation, operational monitoring, and coordination with exchanges and clearing institutions to ensure smooth and compliant trading operations. The ideal candidate will have strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and experience working within regulated trading, FX, or digital asset environments.
The role requires close collaboration with Trading, Compliance, Finance, and IT teams while maintaining strict segregation between front, middle, and back office functions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for trade clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes to ensure all trading records are fully aligned with exchanges and clearing institutions
- Monitor daily trading activities, handle trade discrepancies, failed trades, and open position adjustments in a timely manner
- Strictly adhere to front, middle, and back office segregation principles, and must not participate in trading decisions or direct trade execution
- Manage daily trade registration and data reconciliation with the Futures Exchange (Bursa Berjangka) and clearing institution (Lembaga Kliring Berjangka
- Monitor client fund transfers, withdrawal requests, and wallet operations to ensure compliant management of segregated client accounts
- Assist in preparing daily and weekly trading reports, regulatory submissions, and internal risk reports
- Support the Compliance team in trade surveillance, abnormal transaction investigations, and reporting processes
- Maintain operational stability of trading systems (MetaTrader 5 preferred), troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with IT teams for resolution
- Participate in developing and continuously improving Trading Operations SOPs to ensure compliance with OJK and Bappebti regulatory requirements
- Support audit reviews and regulatory inspections conducted by Bappebti and OJK, including providing required data and explanationations
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trading operations, settlement, clearing, or middle/back office operations, within futures brokerage, FX, or crypto/digital asset environments
- Strong background in crypto/digital assets, with solid understanding of exchange operations, wallet management, and digital asset settlement processes
- Proficient in trading platforms (MetaTrader 5 preferred) and Excel/data processing too
- Strong compliance and risk awareness with strict adherence to front, middle, and back office segregation principles
- Intermediate or above level English communication skill
