Job Description

The University of Indianapolis is seeking applications for the Traffic and Membership Coordinator for UINDY Studio Operations in Radio and Television. The Traffic and Membership Coordinator position produces and reconciles daily program logs; schedules broadcast elements including programs, underwriting announcements, and promotional spots; inputs underwriting schedules and production orders; works behind the scenes to facilitate pledge drives through contacting donors and ensuring timely fulfillment of member pledges;

collects information for quarterly member newsletter; and coordinates promotional and donor events.

Responsibilities

Produces daily program logs and visual traffic logs for all channels

Enters production and traffic orders

Merges program and music logs in automation system

Reconciles logs and produces affidavits, billing invoices, and reports as requested

Participates behind the scenes in station pledge/membership drives

Fulfills donor/member premiums

Acts as liaison with development office regarding audience donations

Tracks membership and updates member database as needed

Communicates with donors as needed

Assists with community event marketing efforts, on-air pledge drives, and sustained donation program

Collects information and develops draft of quarterly member newsletter

Assists with implementation of new fundraising ideas

Helps identify promotional opportunities and coordinate promo and donor events

Qualifications

High school diploma required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Radio/TV production and/or traffic (scheduling) experience desired

Excellent computer andcommunication skills

Attention to detail

Team player
