Position: Live Transcriptionist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Focus Interpreting is seeking a dedicated Live Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Live Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting spoken language into written text in real-time during various events, meetings, and discussions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide accurate and efficient live transcription services during meetings, conferences, and other live events
Ensure that transcriptions are clear, concise, and reflect the speaker’s intent while adhering to formatting standards
Utilize transcription software and equipment to deliver high-quality text outputs in real-time
Collaborate with clients to understand specific transcription needs and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information covered during transcription sessions
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in English with exceptional spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
Experience with transcription software and tools preferred
Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
Excellent listening skills and the ability to quickly understand and transcribe spoken language accurately
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high transcription quality
