Transportation Clerk Jobs in Bell, California, USA at Avature
We are in search of a Transportation Clerk to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing clerical support within a warehouse environment and assisting with transportation department operations.
Responsibilities Include:
Communication: Contact drivers, gather ETAs, and respond to phone calls and walk-ins with professionalism.
Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate information in databases.
Scheduling: Responsible for scheduling deliveries and managing communications with drivers.
Customer Service: Provide high-level support for internal teams and external contacts.
General Clerical Support: Assist with additional tasks within the transportation department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Prior experience in transportation (preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to multi-task.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer and email proficiency (preferred).
Basic experience with receiving.
This position offers a starting pay rate of $20.00-$24.00/hour
