Flights and Accommodation Coordinator – 9-Month Max Term Contract

At Sodexo we support career development; due to one of our team members taking up a Secondment opportunity Sodexo is now seeking an experienced Flights and Accommodation Coordinator. Bases at our head office in Balcatta for a 9-month max term contract. In this role, you will report to the Travel and Accommodation TL, and take responsibility for managing travel and accommodation arrangements across the IFMS Contract for Sodexo. You will be the primary point of contact for all travel and accommodation-related queries and concerns.
What you’ll be doing:
Process flight and room rostering for site-based Sodexo employees
Administer travel arrangements for Sodexo, Subcontractors, and Service Partners, addressing any queries or concerns
Maintain travel spreadsheets and all related documentation for submission to stakeholders
Provide exceptional customer service by managing travel requests with professionalism and responsiveness
Answer internal and external calls regarding travel and accommodation promptly
Work closely with site managers to ensure any changes to travel are efficiently communicated to minimise costs
Lead by example to ensure standards and processes are consistently followed, including participating in the review and improvement of procedures
Monitor and review flight no-show costs and identify issues for further investigation and resolution
Efficiently process emergency flight changes and bulk bookings for commercial flights

Key Skills and Experience:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience in travel booking and administration
Rostering experience (desirable but not essential)
Excellent planning and coordination skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships
Organised with effective time management skills to handle a high-volume workload
