Job Summary
As a Junior Associate, Finance within Traveloka’s Finance function, you will support the Treasury team’s efforts to uphold the company’s financial strength through diverse treasury operations. You will play a key role in executing day-to-day cash management tasks and contributing to broader treasury initiatives that align with the team’s mission of driving smart, resilient business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on cash flow metrics, including daily cash requirements, cash receipts and payments, financial obligations, debt covenants, interest charges and earnings
- Support hedging activities related to interest rate, currency and commodity risk, as well as assist in assessing counter-party risk
- Aid in managing stakeholder relations with external funding partners such as banks, financial institutions, ratings agencies and regulatory agencies
- Assist the team in efforts to raise capital through instruments like bonds, loans and credit facilities
- Contribute to recommending funding instruments and managing the company’s cost of capital
- Provide input on liquidity constraints to inform the team’s investment decisions
- Assist in managing day-to-day cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
- Process and track bank transactions and cash movements, and support the preparation of daily cash reports and liquidity management reports
Job Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Possess knowledge of cash management and banking operations
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software such as ERP systems
- Exhibit strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Have knowledge of treasury-related compliance regulations (considered a plus)
- Understand core treasury operations and their alignment with the broader Finance function’s goals
