Job Description:
As a CDL Class A Hazmat Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials. You will operate Class A dump trailers on local and regional haul routes, roll-off trucks on both local and regional haul routes, and, on occasion, super vac trucks on drill rig sites or in the field. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate Class A dump trailers, roll-off trucks, and super vac trucks in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in good operating condition.
– Ensure the safe loading and unloading of hazardous materials.
– Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with DOT regulations.
– Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
– Adhere to company safety standards and protocols at all times.
– Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Requirements:
– Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement.
– Clean driving record with no accident history.
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in truck driving; experience operating vac trucks is a plus.
– Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
– Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
– Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
– Physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and sitting for long periods.
– Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional extended hours.
