Title: Operations Administrator

Position Type: Full-time, primarily in-office

Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 annually

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri; ~8a-5p ET with a flexible schedule available

We are looking for an Operations Administrator, preferably in Raleigh, NC, excited about supporting other teams such as finance, human resources, project management, and office management. The Operations Administrator will use their experience to manage back-office functions: customer billing, vendor payments, bookkeeping, and general office management. In addition, this role may also complete tasks for payroll and benefits, employee onboarding, project management, and other various functions to support the administrative success of office operations. How you’ll contribute: Accounting and Bookkeeping: Generate and distribute customer invoices, track purchase orders, and ensure proper project setup across multiple customer projects Perform bookkeeping functions, including paying bills, manage employee expense reimbursements, process customer payments, record customer payments, etc., via QuickBooks Online and other company systems Reconcile bank accounts and process electronic payments Compile various financial reports to support management and payroll (i.e. commissions, bonuses, etc.) Collaborate with human resources to assist with monthly payroll, employee benefits, and onboarding Engage with customer, partners, and internal teams to resolve billing and project related issues Administrative Assistant: Maintain customer, vendor, and company records/files to allow efficient access by various teams Collect signatures and oversee document management as statements of work, orders, and contracts transition from Sales to Delivery Provide project management support and reports as requested Ensure employee and contractor compliance with required administrative responsibilities (i.e. timesheets, expense reimbursement, approvals, etc.) Provide administrative support to company executives Assist with planning company events and meetings Create documentation on company processes and procedures Perform other job administrative duties as assigned Office Management: Oversee daily tasks in the office: manage supply inventory, retrieve/disseminate physical mail, receive and ship packages, coordinate necessary facilities & equipment maintenance Prepare for, greet, and assist office visitors Assist new employees with onboarding and workspace setup Provide clerical support including answering phones, as well as scanning and preparing documents Strengths you’ll bring: Minimum Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in business, administration, or related field Ability to type at least 60wpm Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Mail (Gmail) Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting platform) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Quality is just as important as quantity; attention-to-detail is key Tap into your decision-making and organizational skills to solve unique challenges Ability to recognize or even anticipate new issues quickly and discern the best course of action Dive in as a self-starter with a can-do attitude who takes ownership of tasks/duties Be fluid and adapt from working independently to working in a team environment Superpowers you might have: Preferred skills/qualifications Experience using OpenAir, Jira, and/or ADP Workforce Now Exposure to employee relations and human resource management Ability to create and interpret a profit & loss statement, balance sheet, and other financial reports Understanding of accrual accounting and professional services revenue recognition Experience with event planning such as company meetings and team-building events The culture we foster: Through respectful and transparent communication at all levels, Tryon Solutions nurtures a strong culture of dedication between individuals and teams, with emphasis on life-work harmony.
