Position Summary
Performs clerical duties for the Unit and acts as receptionist to patients and visitors arriving in the department. Utilizes computer to update pertinent patient information.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:High school diploma, generaleducationdegree (GED) or equivalent is preferred.
License/Certifications:RQI BLS Certification within first 30 days of employment required for Med Surg Unit, preferred for Emergency Services.
Experience:Medical secretarial background and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently
