What You’ll Do:

As a Unit Secretary, you will maintain an organized environment on the nursing unit. Key Responsibilities: Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and staff in person and over the phone Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records and charts Scheduling appointments and arranging meetings Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory of office supplies Collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth operations Provides administrative support to the nursing staff We invite you to join us as a Unit Secretary and be an essential part of the team making a real difference in people’s lives in an environment where compassion, care and expertise come together!

What You Bring:

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Additional certification or coursework in office administration is a plus May require experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and in specific functional areas in a long-term care setting Compassionate and empathetic nature Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in office software and basic computer skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment
