Responsible for clerical and secretarial unit management within the Nursing service department.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED with unit secretary training and/or applicable experience.
Hospital background preferred.
Knowledge of medications, medical terminology and spelling.
Keyboard skills and familiarity with computers essential.
Ability to interact with the public courteously and effectively.
Ability to work in a busy area, adapting to frequent interruptions, while maintaining efficiency, calm demeanor and a pleasant approach.
