VP of IT Audit
Our client is a leading financial services firm based outside of the New York Metro area in a warm weather climate with a much lower cost of living. Because the firm is well-capitalized and growing, they are looking to hire a VP of IT Audit to lead their IT Audit Team. The VP will plan, conduct and deliver IT corporate audits and results. The individual will evaluate internal controls, operations and administrative functions for efficiency and effectiveness, adherence to bank policies and procedures, and compliance with federal and state banking regulations. This position will also be responsible for maintaining audit software (TeamMate) to provide a well-documented and organized audit program and audit work papers.?
Supervising a team of currently 2-3 IT audit staff and seniors on one or multiple IT audit assignments.
Performing work under the direction of the Operational/IT Audit Director which can include individual or multiple audit assignments.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessment and engagement planning.
Executing and documenting audit work within TeamMate.
Developing, presenting and finalizing audit reports.
Performing administrative duties and participating in special projects as assigned by department management.
Developing and maintaining relationship with Company’s staff and management to facilitate proactive assessment of the Company’s IT risk profile.
Assessing personnel and personal development needs (i.e., training and career development) in conjunction with department management.
RELOCATION AVAILABLE
. Salary $110k – 125k + Bonus.
