Whole Foods Marketing is seeking an Associate Team Leader, Office Team in Seattle. Provides leadership and oversight to the Office Team family. This role will oversee the provision of the full range of office services, including audio / visual equipment operation and maintenance, conference and meeting coordination and set up, new Team Member set up and connectivity support, equipment upkeep and repair, inventory management, and supply ordering and upkeep. This role will work closely with outside vendors to negotiate service contracts, monitor performance, and follow up with issues and improvement initiatives. This will also identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies and ensure proper levels of business support. This role will also be responsible for leading executive administrative functions, support, communication, and coordination to a designated senior level leader.This role will be based out of Seattle with an expectation of being in the office 5 days every week.
Responsibilities:
Supports designated SVP with executive administration tasks such as managing calendar, travel, expense reporting, and any other assignment from the SVP.
Provides day-to-day directions and guidance to the Office Team and allied vendors / service providers.
Assists in Office Team leadership with job discussions, training, recruiting and development of Office Team Specialists and Team Members.
Manages Space planning vertical and research, coordinates implementation of, and ensures effective use of Space planning technology tools.
Partners with supported teams and vendors / service providers to determine present and future space needs, finalize suitable floorplans, and direct movement of teams across campus.
Manages and directs allocation of space in support of business needs and priorities.
Partners with Facilities team / leaders and supported teams to direct facilities reconfiguration projects and one-off requests.
Organizes and directs internal office moves.
Leads and/or supports logistics and planning of major company-wide or area events.
Supports drafting and editing of communications on behalf of designated SVP.
Oversees customer complaint resolution process.
Skills:
Has comprehensive understanding of Office Team functions, tasks, methods, and procedures.
Solid event planning skills.
Understands how to operate and troubleshoot audio / visual equipment.
Develop and recommends methods to continuously improve systems and processes.
Basic spreadsheet and word processing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to lead others.
Provides positive guidance and mentoring for Team Members.
Works effectively with supported teams and individuals.
Works effectively with suppliers, vendors, and key external stakeholders.
Supports task / project planning, including budget / cost, schedules and resource requirements.
Maintains open communication among all task / project stakeholders, internally and externally.
Directs and advises Team Members on specific project activities.
Engage with leadership to help develop and ensure effective support of functional objectives.
Identifies process and procedural changes that will have a positive impact on the function’s overall effectiveness and efficiency.
Translates departmental objectives into tangible actions on the front line.
Education & Experience:
BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Prior leadership experience is not required but may have informally led teams or performed in a team lead role.
The wage range for this position is $66,891.00 – $113,715.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits”.
