Position : Procurement Admin

Reports To : Snr Client & Procurement Exec

Responsibilities

  • compiling all relevant supplier & product information, costing and visuals, and updating into the procurement database;
  • performing valid costings in excel & compile into PPT/PDF for submission;
  • arranging for product samples where necessary, either for client viewing or company's testing / evaluation;
  • preparing system for POissuance upon job confirmation;
  • preparing any other documents or information, ie logos, visuals, artwork etc required for the jobs;
  • to source for products for the company and the company's clients, including local and overseas sources, especially for premium-related projects;
  • to negotiate with the suppliers and factories for the best item prices and payment terms possible for the company;
  • to carry out related product research and study to ensure product viability and marketability;
  • monitoring production schedule to ensure on-time delivery to clients, including monitoring of all production stages, ie pre-production, production, QC, delivery, shipping etc;
  • checking pre-production and production samples against approved samples;
  • arranging & monitoring QC timeline & results;
  • following up & negotiating with suppliers re: poor QC result and / or defective items;
  • updating product database on a regular basis, by carrying out trend studies on latest items, and/or through discussions or research with suppliers;
  • to assist in checking for quotes where necessary for air and/or sea freights, and their associated costs, ie documents, handling etc;
  • to assist in ensuring importing procedures are met with the proper docs complete, to ensure on time arrival and delivery of shipment;
  • to assist in handling importing of products;
  • to keep abreast with the latest import laws and duties;
  • to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Ability to speak English & Mandarin is a must.

Relevant experience is preferred but fresh grads are welcomed as well.
