Job purpose

This role is integral to Spread a Smile being able to deliver our services to seriously ill children in hospital. You will be part of our brilliant Services team, assisting with the admin involved in the delivery of in-person and online entertainer visits and family events, working at the very heart of our organisation. You will be integral to delivering Spread a Smile activities at Christmas, a time when we go all out to spread smiles. Your support will enable us to continue to deliver a high quality and personalised service to all our beneficiaries and supporters.

Main duties and responsibilities

Supporting with the onboarding of new entertainers

Ensuring there is good communication with entertainers at all times

Supporting with entertainers admin including keeping entertainers database up to date

Lead on organisation and management of all stock, uniform and donations for hospital deliveries and event goodie bags

Lead on all packing and logistics for family events and services initiatives, such as treat drops and Art Club packs.

Providing supervision and support for volunteers in Spread a Smile office and at family events

Support with gift in kind asks

This is a full-time role with 25 days holiday plus additional days off over Christmas. We expect a minimum of three days in the office in London N5. Core office hours are 9am – 5pm. The salary is £25,000.
