About the Role
As a Business Broker or Sales Consultant with LUX Business Sales & Advisory, you will manage the sales process from start to finish. This includes meeting business owners, securing listings, assisting with pricing and appraisal discussions, preparing marketing campaigns, qualifying buyers, conducting inspections, negotiating offers, and coordinating due diligence through to settlement.
This is a performance-based role with uncapped commission-earning potential for professionals who are committed, proactive, and focused on achieving strong results.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and secure new listings, including business sales and selected commercial or warehouse opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers, investors, and referral partners
- Prepare and manage listing campaigns with professionalism and confidentiality
- Qualify buyers and investors and manage enquiry follow-up
- Conduct inspections and assist with negotiations on terms and conditions
- Liaise with solicitors, accountants, landlords, and financiers throughout the transaction process
- Manage multiple campaigns and transactions in a structured and organised manner
About You
We are looking for someone who is motivated, trustworthy, and genuinely committed to building a successful career in business brokerage and business advisory.
You will ideally have:
- Strong sales, business development, or customer service experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- A professional manner and presentation
- High integrity, accountability, and emotional resilience
- Strong time management and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Confidence in dealing with business owners, buyers, and investors
- An understanding of business operations, basic financials, and simple contract concepts
- A current QLD real estate licence, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
