The position of Administration Officer will coordinate and support a team of frontline clinical staff for the Child Health/Development Service and perform a range of administration functions to provide consistent and high-quality services.
About The Team
Children's Health Queensland provides a range of community-based services within the Division of Child and Youth Community Health Service that fall under the following specialty areas:
- Child Health Services
- Child Development Program
- Community Access Booking Service (CABS)
- Statewide and Specialised Services including School Based Youth Health, Deadly Ears Program, Pacifikai, Healthy Hearing Program and Primary School Nurse Health Readiness Program
- Yarrabilba Family Place
- Dakabin Youth Hub
- Ellen Barron Family Centre
About The Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:
- Greeting patients and their families and providing a professional customer service including phone support.
- Providing information regarding locations of services/and/or patients within the facility and other CYCHS service locations.
- Managing, distributing, and sorting correspondence and deliveries.
- Undertaking administrative tasks to support patient flow, patient care and movements within the facility.
- Maintaining data integrity by checking all data in the patient information and billing systems and modifying/updating to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
