Where you’ll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What You’ll Be Doing

At the Community Health Centres (CHC) the administrative officer provides a professional and consumer focused first point of contact to clients and carers and community members attending the centre.

The Administrative officer provides essential administrative functions to support the delivery of clinical care services provided by nurses and allied health staff to community health clients.

Working in collaboration with clinical teams the administrative officer ensures that the centre and fleet are well maintained and contributes to Work Health and Safety processes.

Selection Criteria

High level customer service skills, with a demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service and maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrates capacity to communicate confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

Demonstrated experience using a variety of data, record keeping and ordering systems, computer applications and electronic health record systems.

Demonstrated initiative, organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage responsibilities within required timeframes under broad supervision and in a team environment.

Experience supporting clinical and/or administration teams with healthcare computer and reporting systems.

Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
