Job Description
You will be joining our friendly Administration Team providing a comprehensive customer focused service to our medical and surgical wards.
You will be responsible for effectively performing the administrative and reception duties within the department as part of a team that works cooperatively sharing roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer. You will deliver a high standard of customer service to our patients, greeting them on arrival, processing their initial paperwork, managing admissions and discharges, and coordinating referrals and appointments.
In this role you will report to Administration Manager and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and a supportive team.
Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented individual with highly developed communication and organisational skills. Your strong administration skillset, attention to detail and accuracy will be key to this role as will your ability to manage conflicting priorities working in a fast-paced environment.
You Will Also Bring
- Previous medical administration experience in healthcare setting desirable
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a team where required
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Managing appointments, records, and correspondence efficiently.
- Assisting with day-to-day office operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
