About Community Rehabilitation

The Monash Health Community Rehabilitation service actively engages with people to improve and maintain health, independence and well-being. We do this by coordinating and/or providing integrated, multidisciplinary care across multiple settings within the local community. Our aim is to help clients live their best lives by enabling them to access the support they need, when they need it.

Community Rehabilitation services may include therapy at home, at one of our centres and/or tele-rehabilitation consultations. We offer group and individual rehabilitation to adults in the community setting. The service is time-limited, goal-focussed and tailored to each person.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join the Cranbourne and Pakenham Community Rehabilitation service. The Administration Officer is responsible for working within the Community Rehabilitation program to provide best practice client care and achieve maximal operational effectiveness. Drawing upon professional expertise in healthcare administration, the Community Rehabilitation Administration Officer provides direct administrative support to the Community Rehabilitation manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of timely client-centred care. This position is responsible for administrative duties, data entry, secretarial and customer service duties for the Community Rehabilitation team and prgram. The Community Rehabilitation Administration Officer participates in process and quality improvement activities within the team and larger Community Rehabilitation network.

About You:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated productivity including initiative, good problem solving, judgement, attention to detail, and managing multiple demands

What you need:
Minimum Certificate Business Administration preferred or equivalent training or demonstrate experience in a similar role

Victorian Police Check

Working with Children’s Check

Well-developed interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills within a broad range of administration and organisational interactions

Experience using iPM, HMS, Harrison and SMR (desirable)
