Full Job Description
The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for an Administration Support/Mentor to work in the grant-administered US Forest Service ACES (55 years of age or older) at the Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS), Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory in Missoula, Montana.
Role and Responsibilities: The position will provide transitional and mentoring support to the Fire, Fuels, and Smoke Science (FFS) Science Program Manager, with a focus on budget, organization operations, and transition support to current and future administrative staff. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Ability to analyze, report, and reconcile FFS budget reports and work with fund managers to plan and execute funding requests.
Knowledge of and familiarity with administrative support operations of the Fire, Fuel & Smoke Program to provide training and mentoring.
Provide management and delegation of administrative tasks.
Special Projects assigned to support administrative functions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older; possess a BA/BS degree with 20 years of experience in a related field; Familiarity with Administrative functions within the Forest Service Research & Development and processes within RMRS-FFS.
Hours & Compensation:Part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week @ $60.00 per hour.
