Overview: A client of ours is seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join their team in Midtown, Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of corporate administrative experience, exceptional multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to executives and team members, ensuring the smooth functioning of office operations.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to executives and team members, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.

Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations.

Manage office supplies inventory and order replenishments as needed.

Coordinate and schedule appointments, conferences, and events.

Screen and route incoming calls, emails, and visitors to appropriate personnel.

Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.

Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including paperwork and orientation.

Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Prepare expense reports and reconcile credit card statements.

Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of corporate administrative experience required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
