Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour
Overview
Our client, a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics, is seeking an Administrative Assistant III to support their Technical Support and Training Center in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth operations for technical support activities, customer training sessions, and office administration.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience working with SAP, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Place orders in SAP to support technical support replacements and troubleshooting activities, ensuring timely shipment to customers and field staff
- Manage the return process for instruments and products using SAP and internal systems
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers during training sessions
- Support internal teams by processing requests for items and supplies available at the New Jersey office
- Guide internal customers through the proper routing of official correspondence and documentation
- Provide on-site office support including ordering and maintaining office supplies, receiving shipments, and handling general administrative tasks
- Assist with coordinating lunches and travel arrangements for on-site customers (approximately once per month)
- Document customer messages for Technical Support during periods of low staffing using CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on improving workflow, documentation, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of customer service or administrative support experience preferred
- 3–5 years of SAP experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred
- Familiarity with DocuSign, Power Automate, or Microsoft Teams Agents preferred
