We offer our services – both nationally and internationally – from our six studios in Birmingham, Sheffield, London, Kent, Bristol and Cambridge. Due to expanding workload, an opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join our Architectural Practice’s Administration Team in our Birmingham office.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the Birmingham studio

Assisting the Office Manager with general office administration for all six of Bond Bryan’s offices

Receptionist duties such as welcoming visitors, answering telephones and transferring enquiries, distributing post, and ensuring that the office is tidy and professionally presented at all times

Assisting with day-to-day office operational issues e.g.

i. Arranging plumbers, builders, cleaners etc.

ii. Monitor, order and maintain supplies of office stationery and other consumables

iii. Ensure adequate operation of office hardware such as photocopiers

iv. Organise couriers

v. Deal with company car queries

Assisting with organising functions such as company conferences, social events and catering.

Organising various meetings timetables

Maintaining the filing system for legals

Booking travel arrangements and ticket purchase, hire cars, taxis

KEY SKILLS FOR THE ROLE:

Experience in a similar role is desired

Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software

Professional telephone manner

Willingness to develop existing and learn new skills

Knowledge of using iMac computers desirable but not essential as training will be given

Knowledge of InDesign is desirable but not essential as training will be given

Someone with initiative and conscientious who wants to be part of a team

The successful applicant will be flexible in attitude and willing to assist Bond Bryan Architects achieve continued growth in a constantly changing and demanding market.
