Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role supports daily office operations by handling phone calls, managing schedules and calendars, organizing files and records, and assisting with correspondence and document preparation. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate meetings, support executives with administrative tasks, maintain office supplies, and help ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. The role may also include data entry, basic reporting, and support for logistics related to apparel orders, samples, and showroom activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, filing, data entry, and document management.
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with a professional, clear, and courteous approach to internal and external interactions.
- Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance, supporting leaders with calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace) and basic familiarity with spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in fashion, apparel, or a related industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or degree in Business, Administration, or a related field preferred.
