Vacancy for Executive Assistant
Location: Support, East Bank Demerara, Guyana.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Coordinate and prepare agendas, reports, and presentations for executive meetings, board meetings, and other engagements.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, and investors.
Draft, review, and manage email correspondence and other communications on behalf of the CEO.
Act as a liaison between the CEO and department heads, ensuring timely communication and follow-up on tasks and projects.
Assist the CEO in managing high-priority projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
Provide administrative support for strategic initiatives, including coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking project progress.
Organize domestic and international travel for the CEO, including itinerary planning, transportation, accommodations, and travel documentation.
Plan and coordinate executive-level events, meetings, and conferences.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for important documents, contracts, and reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting a CEO or other C-level executives.
Experience in managing complex schedules, travel arrangements, and high-level projects.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Experience in corporate governance and board administration.
Familiarity with financial and business reports.
Project management certification or experience.
This position may require occasional travel.
Must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate the CEO’s schedule.
