Job Description
TorontoJobs recruiting division is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant on behalf of a client operating in a supply chain-focused environment. This role supports purchasing, inventory coordination, logistics administration, and general operational recordkeeping.
The successful candidate will play an important support role in ensuring purchase orders, pricing information, shipment details, and inventory-related records are entered and maintained accurately. This opportunity is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and interested in building experience in administration, logistics, supply chain, or operations support. Responsibilities
Issue and revise purchase orders as needed
Maintain and update supplier pricing and related records
Enter shipment, inventory, and transfer-related information into internal systems
Monitor item quantities and support replenishment-related administrative tasks
Assist with data entry, reporting, and documentation for supply chain and logistics functions
Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipment updates, and related matters
Support internal coordination to help ensure timely and accurate order processing
Provide administrative support to the broader operations and logistics function
Assist with backup support across related administrative areas when neede

Work Arrangement / Schedule

Qualifications
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong data entry capability
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Microsoft Access or similar systems is an asset
Comfortable learning and using internal systems and technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Background in supply chain, logistics, accounting, finance, or administration is an asset
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, but not required
Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply
