Your impact
It takes a great team to deliver environmental projects that clean up our communities and improve natural resources. This includes coordinating travel and equipment for field workers. We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to support travel coordination for field staff and tracking field resources while following Jacobs and client policies. You’ll use your strong communication skills to work with customers to resolve issues and problems.
Based in Western Canada, you will:
Support various field programs by assisting with administrative tasks such as document control, data entry, filing, and clerical tasks related to maintaining health and safety policies and procedures at Jacobs.
Organize necessary training and PPE prior to employees heading to client sites.
Support our expense team by submitting staff expenses for travel conducted on company business.
The ideal candidate will support our HSE team with training setup and support our expense team during the busy field season. This role will support our team across North America and requires flexibility with schedules due to different time zones. The position can be based out of our offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, or Prince George; alternative locations may be considered.
The position includes evening and weekend support, with work performed as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:
High School Diploma
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Accurate record keeping and strong time management skills
Experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
Fluent written and verbal English skills
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
Customer service and communication skills
Investigation and troubleshooting techniques
Basic understanding of accounting processes
Salary Range:
Minimum: $43,200.00
Maximum: $65,340.00
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across British Columbia locations. Pay within this range depends on work location, skills, experience, and education.
