Full Job Description

Overview:Datawatch Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our Customer Service department. This positionis full-time, in-person in our Bethesda office. The Assistant will work with internal departments and customers to update and maintain customer accounts including decommissioning accounts.

Pay starts at $20/hour plus benefits and paid time off.All applicants applying for a position at Datawatch Systems must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check. E/O/E/M/F/V/D.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate between the Customer Service, Sales and Billing departments to update customer acounts to result in accurate billing

Process customer’s changes related to their account

Respond to billing inquiries from customers and internal departments in an efficient and professional manner

Deactivate accounts across multiple systems at the direction of Customer Service Representatives

Identify and communicate customer problems regarding billing

Audit customer accounts to uphold integrity of their access control data

Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports for upper management

Review customer contracts to respond to customer inquiries

Assist other Installation Programmers when time permits

Support additional customer service and sales department projects

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Excel and Outlook

Works well with others at all levels of the company

Demonstrates initiative

Possess excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Desire to become familiar with and competent invarious aspects of the access control business

Some experience with Infor is a plus
