Job Description:
The Judicial Branch is a state-funded Branch of Government that offers medical/dental/vision, $20,000 free basic life insurance, state-matched 156% retirement plan, 13 paid holidays, earned paid vacation and sick leave, and more.
This position supports administrative front desk operations, functions, or activities and performs varied administrative, technical, and support work. Responsibilities may include preparing documents, locating and providing the necessary documents and files along with relevant information for the Judicial Branch information for a verity of stakeholders. Enters and updates information in database(s), responds to information requests, uploads documents and forwards appropriate documents to appropriate internal entities.
Examples of work:
Answers inquiries concerning policies, procedures, and processes to facilitate proper application of directives and processes.
Collects and compiles information and/or data from computers, databases, statistical, accounting, administrative, and/or other records.
Compiles records, charts and/or graphs through word processing, spreadsheet, or database software to display information in a readable format and to provide the immediate supervisor and management officials with information for making decisions.
Installs, maintains, and/or modifies manual and computerized tracking/monitoring or files
Collects and reviews documents and information for accuracy and compliance to support Judicial Branch customer service efforts.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of administrative experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
KNOWLEDGE
Applicable principles and practices in assigned program area;
Data collection methods;
Database maintenance principles and practices;
Modern office practices and equipment;
English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation;
Records maintenance principles;
Customer service principles.
SKILL
Using a computer and related software applications;
Providing customer service;
Handling multiple tasks simultaneously;
Maintaining files, records, databases, and other related systems;
Collecting, reviewing, and summarizing data;
Preparing reports;
Preparing business correspondence;
Using modern office equipment;
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
