The role

The Administrative Assistant will primarily perform tasks relating to Support Services, HR, and assistance in maintaining client files and information. The Administrative Assistant will perform duties which consist of confidential client typing, special reports, and data entry.

A day in the life of an Administrative Assistant can look like:

HR Assistance:

Running Background Checks on applicants.
Uploading documents to HR Portal.
Updating the Iowa workforce website on a regular basis with new hire data.

Support:

Headquarters phone coverage.
Greeting visitors coming and going into the building.
Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
Logging incoming checks and cash daily.

What youll need

A High School diploma is required.

Two years of office experience is preferred.

Knowledge of customer and personal service required.

Ability to use critical thinking skills to problems solve.

Ability to convey information effectively through speech and writing skills.

Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with others.
