About The Role
The Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital pediatric research initiatives within a dynamic and supportive environment. This hybrid/remote role involves coordinating and supporting complex, multi-site clinical studies, ensuring smooth operational workflows, and facilitating effective communication among research teams. With a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, the coordinator will manage various administrative and logistical tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and supporting data entry and extraction activities. The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual capable of working independently and collaboratively to advance research objectives that ultimately aim to improve child health outcomes. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in customer service and/or office management
- Preferred healthcare or medical office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality and human subjects protection guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to adapt to various communication and learning styles
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to study teams
- Ensure timely completion of clinical research activities and project tasks
- Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes
- Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, and reimbursement requests for team members
- Coordinate study visits with research participants and support participant engagement
- Assist in data entry, extraction, and report preparation for study documentation and analysis
- Introduce and implement CPI methods to ensure process consistency and quality
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for research documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to team members and visitors
- Proofread and edit various research-related documents for accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize research workflows
- Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones
