About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant, internally titled Core Services Specialist, to join our Core Services team. In this role, you will provide strategic administrative support to our Attorneys and Case Managers, ensuring the efficient delivery of legal services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing case-related correspondence, supporting application preparation and filing, and assisting with data entry and organization. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. You will play a vital role in streamlining workflows, supporting special projects, and contributing to the overall success of our immigration services. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with Salesforce, MyCase, and proprietary systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and multitask effectively
- Natural curiosity with a desire to learn and grow professionally
- Experience in administrative support or legal environment preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team
Responsibilities
- Support legal mail processing and data entry related to immigration cases
- Scan and organize government correspondence, including receipt notices, RFEs, and approval notices
- Enter and verify case data such as receipt numbers and expiration dates in the case management system
- Assist in preparing and filing immigration applications accurately and efficiently
- Print, assemble, scan, and coordinate FedEx shipping for application packages
- Support special projects, perform data analysis, and contribute to workflow improvements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate case processing
- Provide exceptional support to clients and internal teams, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness
