Administrative Assistant – Plant Admin Jobs in Romeoville, IL at Hearthside Food Solutions

Edward’s Stone is seeking a new staff member to fill our hourly based Administrative Support Specialist role. This person will be responsible for meeting and assisting customers, while also acting as the company’s first point of contact with potential clients. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills combined with professionalism to create long-lasting relationships with our clients and customers.

Some of your duties will include:
Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the office
In-house stone selections with walk-ins and occasionally with salespeople’s clients, when they aren’t present
Directing visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email to clients and customers
Assigning phone and walk-in leads to salespeople
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Contacting third party services to maintain office upkeep
Handle incoming payments from customers
Opening and sorting office mail
Developing and maintaining organizational strategies and processes for an efficient office workflow
Occasionally assisting coworkers in general day to day duties
Performing other clerical receptionist tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Ordering and stocking office supplies

Additional Job Qualifications Include:
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative Inside Sales Rep, or a similar customer service based role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Programs
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. copiers and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
