POSITION TYPE: Full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30am 4:30pm

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

Position SummaryPerform administrative duties for the Coble Creek building and serves as receptionist. Self-directed, cross-trained member assigned to the Coble Creek building. Must have excellent computer skills that include MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint). Must have exceptional customer service skills. Previous office experience. Associate degree preferred.

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Provides administrative support for all Coble Creek administrative staff.

Serves as Receptionist, greeting/screening residents, visitors, and family members.

Manages the transportation needs of all Coble Creek Residents.

Maintains files for service contracts, committee meeting minutes, correspondence, and any other designated files.

Makes copies as needed. Assures supplies on hand as needed and equipment is in good repair.

Maintains daily and year-to-date census; distribute daily census summary.

Assists with QA committee meetings, compiling data for their use.

Give tours of Coble Creek as needed and answer questions about the building and admission process. Serves as a backup for the Admissions Coordinator.

Scan and upload documents into the medical record.

Produces newsletter to resident families. Responsible for bulk mail associated with this newsletter.

Composes, types, edits variety of correspondence, reports, and other documents. May be required to copy, collate, bind, and/or fax variety of documents.

Assists with monthly staff schedule, making phone calls to replace staff in case of absences.

Assist with scheduling staff for trainings.

Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant it.

Able to read, write and speak English in a cogent and professional manner.

Able to manage time, multiple tasks, and projects.

Able to work mandatory work days and mandatory OT as needed.

Possess the ability to maintain predictable attendance.

Education And/or Experience

Associate Degree preferred

One or more years of Administrative Assistance experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or patient care setting preferred

Microsoft Suite proficiency required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint)
