Job Summary:

The Front Office Administrative Assistant (“Assistant”) is the first point of contact for walk-in’s and callers. The person in this role will manages calls, assist with scheduling needs, and welcomes visitors with professionalism and care. This role provides dependable administrative support across the team.

Essential Job Functions:

Serve as the primary representative of DBC through telephone and in-person interactions with customers and vendors.
Support various departments by performing administrative tasks such as managing and ordering office supplies, coordinating meetings, maintaining organized digital and physical files, scheduling internal appointments, assisting with event planning, and general data entry.
Assist with finance-related duties, including entering receipts in our accounting software, preparing documentation for payroll processing, assisting with accounts payable setup, and supporting other day-to-day financial tasks as needed.
Learn and perform tasks using company software essential to business operations, including CRM, accounting, and scheduling platforms.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Adhere to professional business attire standards.
Ensure reliable transportation to and from work.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of DBC.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three years’ in administrative support, customer service, or a related field preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
QuickBooks experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Seeing – Must have sufficient visual ability to read information on a computer screen.
Hearing – Must be able to hear well enough to communicate via telephone and in person.
Grasping/Feeling – Must be able to operate a computer and telephone efficiently.

This role is primarily sedentary, with occasional requirements for walking, standing, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

Compensation, Hours & Benefits –

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a half-hour unpaid lunch
Pay is bi-weekly
Hourly pay based on skills and experience
Most benefits become available following a 60-day probationary period
