This job involves various administrative and community engagement responsibilities within the Streetwork program. Key duties include data entry, managing databases, distributing petty cash, and supporting clients with basic needs. The role also requires assisting with event management, overseeing IT issues, and engaging youth in program activities.
Essential Job Functions
Timely and accurate data entry of all client services into program and funder-specific databases
Manage, update, and maintain databases designed for tracking client information and services
Distribute and reconcile petty cash and metro cards
Maintain routine administrative responsibilities including correspondence, files, mail, email, and phone communication
Secondary Job Functions
Assist with managing events at the Drop-In Center, monitor entrance, oversee concrete support to clients, and serve meals
Serve as the point person for IT-related issues at the site
Engage youth into the program structure, promoting harm reduction, mutual respect, and adherence to rules
Facilitate access to daily living needs such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and rest space
Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Interactions
Works closely with all Streetwork sites, LES Director, and staff
Required Skills
Compassionate approach and openness to new ideas
Ability to multi-task, negotiate demands, and work independently
Empathy and non-judgmental attitude
Experience with data collection systems and reporting, including city, state, and federal funding
Strong data entry skills with relevant database systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Desirable Skills
Experience with AIRS and eSHARE data entry
Understanding of harm reduction principles
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience in social services or community-based non-profit organizations
Knowledge of data entry and database systems
At least 2 years of administrative experience in harm reduction or youth homelessness settings

Hiring Range: $23.36 – $25.27 hourly
Full-time Hours: 35 hours/week
