Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Wednesday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Education: High school diploma/GED required

As an Administrative Assistant, you will:

Support the Office Manager and/or Program Director to ensure the office operates efficiently and effectively. Performs a variety of clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

Full-service clerical and reception duties including greeting visitors, answering phones and screening calls, taking messages, typing, filing, scheduling meetings, opening and distributing mail and performing data entry
Assist with front office management and operations as directed
Build and audit of client medical records
Use Excel or other tracking system to maintain tracking sheets to support Accounting
Report and track information for program management
Work collaboratively with all other members of the program team

Additional Qualifications and Skills

One year experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment
Excellent phone etiquette, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality required
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel applications, as well as internet research skills required
Previous experience in a similar mental health program serving the population is desirable
This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required.
Must be able to pass criminal/background clearance

Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) that provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.

All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
