Job Overview

This role is primarily responsible for end-to-end store location selection and new store opening support in Singapore, while managing local administrative operations and serving as the key liaison between the Singapore office and Chinese headquarters.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end store location selection process in Singapore
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, demographic analysis, competitor mapping and trade area evaluation to identify high-potential store locations aligned with business expansion strategy
  • Perform detailed on-site inspections, foot traffic counting, site feasibility assessments and financial ROI analysis for candidate locations
  • Manage full-cycle lease negotiations, including term sheets, rental rates, fit-out periods, lease agreements and handover procedures; liaise with landlords, real estate agents and legal teams to finalize transactions
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective properties and update the headquarters regularly on market trends and location opportunities
  1. Coordinate all government approval procedures for new store openings, including business license applications, industry permits, fire safety certifications and other regulatory compliance requirements
  2. Oversee store renovation projects from planning to completion, including contractor management, budget tracking, progress supervision and final acceptance; manage office leasing and daily office administrative affairs such as procurement, equipment maintenance and facility management
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for headquarters departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.), provide timely updates on local store development progress and administrative matters, and execute assigned tasks efficiently
  4. Assist with travel arrangements, accommodation booking and visitor reception for headquarters staff visiting Singapore

Requirements

  • Valid work pass in Singapore; college diploma or above
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken), with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the Chinese-speaking headquarters team
  • Proactive, self-motivated with strong multi-tasking and time management skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant working experience, with proven track record in retail store location selection and commercial property leasing in Singapore
  • Candidates with Chinese enterprise background or retail/F&B industry experience are strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Singapore's commercial real estate market, store renovation standards and government regulatory processes for new business setup
