Role Description The Administrative Officer role is a part-time, on-site position based in Brisbane, QLD. The person in this role will manage general office administration, including document preparation, data entry, records management, and coordination of office supplies and equipment. Daily tasks include providing administrative assistance to internal teams, organizing meetings and appointments, supporting customer service activities, and maintaining orderly filing and reporting systems. The Administrative Officer will handle incoming inquiries, support communication between departments and external stakeholders, and assist with basic finance and logistics tasks such as processing invoices, tracking orders, and updating databases. This role contributes to the smooth, efficient operation of the office and supports BAUER Australia’s high standards of customer care and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong General Administration skills, including document management, data entry, and office coordination.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance capabilities, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and support to management and technical staff.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess excellent Organization skills, including time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar) and experience with basic ERP or CRM systems is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in an administrative or office support role within an industrial, engineering, or technical environment is an advantage.
- A certificate or diploma in business administration or a related field is preferred but not essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
