The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy.

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Communications Officer (OCC), Administration Branch.This position requires the incumbent to possess a Level II COR Certification.

You possess the knowledge to develop, coordinate, resolve and implement a variety of special projects that are often highly sensitive and confidential.

You have the ability to organize and coordinate staff duties to promote efficient Office operations.

Administrative Officer Series 0341

Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-13.

Specialized experience for this position includes:

Experience formulating and justifying an annual operating budget for a work unit or organizational department.

Experience coordinating the duties of a subordinate administrative operational staff responsible for financial analysis, budget execution, human resources, purchasing, and corporate/government travel.

Experience communicating and coordinating with executive leadership to identify priorities and plan work for a team of administrative professionals.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
